Missing Book uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage keys to run the site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

What we use

• Authentication: a secure session cookie / local-storage entry that keeps you signed in.
• Preferences: your theme (light/dark) and layout choices.
• Payments: when you open Stripe checkout or the billing portal, Stripe sets its own cookies for that flow.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. If you clear your authentication cookie you'll be signed out and will need to sign in again.
