These Terms describe the rules for using Missing Book (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Community Guidelines.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Missing Book.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password safe.
• One person, one account. Impersonation is not allowed.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Missing Book a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the Service so we can operate it (e.g. show your post in feeds, search, and shared links).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, harassing, or unlawful content.
• Post personal information about others without permission.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent an affiliation.
• Interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass rate limits, or attack our systems.
• Scrape or bulk-download personal data.

Full rules live in our Community Guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate them.

FBI case data

Missing-persons case information is sourced from public FBI records. It is provided for awareness and community discussion; Missing Book is not affiliated with the FBI or any law enforcement agency. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Pro subscriptions

• Pro is billed monthly at the price shown on the Pricing page and includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
• You can cancel at any time via the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals.
• Refunds are handled case-by-case; contact us within a reasonable time of a disputed charge.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the community at risk.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep Missing Book reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or continuously available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Missing Book will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will surface them in-app or notify subscribers.
